Green marked trail starting in Heijenrath. A tough hill walk, first through the fields. You cross the sloped forest the Groote Bosch, after which you walk against the river Gulp. Along the winding river, the route takes you to the hamlet of Beutenaken. Behind Beutenaken you make a round through farm fields, along beautiful avenues surrounded by trees. Back in Beutenaken you can stop at a cafe. Then you walk again through the Groote Bosch and fields back to Heijenrath.

You walk along the winding river, over the green banks. You walk back into Slenaken via the Dorpsstraat.
