The winding stream is surrounded by gnarled willows and grasslands filled with flowers. Follow the Slenakerpad around and over the river Gulp and the junction of the river. You walk along the winding river, over the green banks. You walk back into Slenaken via the Dorpsstraat.

Circular walk around and through the Groote Bosch, the woods located between Slenaken and Beutenaken. The route starts on the Slenakerpad, where you walk along the winding river Gulp. At Beutenaken you also cross the river. The second half of the circular walk runs through a variety of forests and meadows, with views of the hilly surroundings.
