This hilly trail crosses a beautiful grove of pines and chestnut trees, leading you to the heights of the hamlet. Along the way, you will cross several streams, which is ideal for cooling off.

This hiking route in the Massif Central leads to the national forest of the Gardons, in the Cévennes National Park. Hikers start from the Saint-Pierre pass located 597 meters above sea level under the Saint-Pierre signal, in the Gard department, on the border with the Lozère department. At the Saint-Pierre pass, you can see a sandstone marker indicating that this road was a royal road. Hikers descend towards the Gardon de Saint-Jean valley before climbing back up to the Col.
